Abstract

|
The prevalence of atopic dermatitis has increased three times in the past 30 years. It shows intractable itch and sleep disturbance. It causes disruption to the entire family life. Much studies have been conducted but its causes are still poorly understood and therapy takes the form of symptomatic relief rather than cure. Many of atopic dermatitis may develop into asthma or allergic rhinitis in the future. So initial management is very important. But there is lack of consistent guideline of management and unreasonable steroid-phobia disturbed right therapy in right time. So we suggest the importance of consistent first line therapy and safe use of topical steroid.
